1982-87 Chevrolet, GMC Short Bed Pickup; Zinc Coated Fuel Tank; 16 Gallon

Complete fuel tank assembly designed for use with 1982-87 Chevrolet and GMC short bed pickup truck models. Comes complete with the locking ring for the fuel sender, and the fuel sender’s sealing O-ring. This specific tank is made of zinc coated steel and measures 42 7/8″ x 14 1/8″ x1 1″. This tank can be mounted on either the drivers or passenger side and utilizes 1-5/8″ I.D. filler pipe. Was only used in diesel models due to the introduction of fuel injection. Must use the existing neck when installing. For 1987 Gasoline powered fuel injected models, use FT5008A.
