While Pontiac never produced a factory made 428ci Firebird, many an enthusiast would argue that they should have, and some dealers took it upon themselves to do it for them. This emblem calls out the 428 cubic inches that were a popular engine swap by dealers such as Myrtle Motors. This trunk emblem is the finishing touch to your 428 conversion, designed to replace the stock 400 trunk emblem on the RH side top edge of the trunk lid. The perfect addition to your 428 swapped Bird or to complete a Myrtle Motors style “Tiger” super-tuned Firebird. Each die-cast reproduction emblem is manufactured in quality die-cast zinc featuring correct orange color with a chrome border. Use 3/16 speed nut # 11501047, sold separately, to attach the emblem. 2 speed nuts required per emblem.
