1978-81 Pontiac Firebird Urethane Dash Pad; Black; Second Design (Coming Soon!)

Reproduction of the original padded dash designed for use on all 1978-81 Firebird and Trans Am models. Each dash pad features an ABS molded backing with injection molded urethane material in the correct grain. Every detail is painstakingly recreated to ensure originality in fit, authenticity and appearance. Installs as original and mounts to the dash panel using existing hardware. Available in black only. Paint to desired color using OEM color vinyl dye. See chemical and paint section for current availability.

Important: This reproduction dash pad (coming soon) is produced with the 1978-81 ‘second design” radio opening that allows for factory style in-dash audio units that required a 2-1/2″ tall opening, including factory AM/FM Stereos with integral 8-track tape deck. When using the factory original 1978-81 style radio, faceplate bezel part # F117881 is available separately to complete your restoration.

Attention 1970-77 Model Owners!! Earlier style 1970-77 factory radios will not fit this dash without modifications. To order the correct “first design” dash pad to fit your 1970-77 “first design” model, refer to part #’s 496352 or 153868 that are correctly configured for your earlier model vehicle.
